5 Ways to Help in the Classroom:
**We need just 5 more copies of Going Solo by Roald Dahl to complete a class set. If you could donate a book or two, we would be most grateful!**
#1 Order books from our book orders
(The picture below is a link)
#2 Donate to Donors Choose so we can get some great books for our classroom!
Thank you to everyone who donated!
We are now fully funded, and the books are on the way!
#5 Volunteer:
Please e-mail me if you are available and what you would like to do. I will put you on my volunteer list and contact you when you are needed.
How can I help My Child?
SAGE is a rigorous program. Please make sure you are encouraging your child to stay on top of things! Make sure they are writing the assignments in their agendas, reading at home, finishing up classwork, staying organized, and asking questions in class as they need to.
General homework is:
30 minutes minimum of reading five times a week, DLP (Due Fridays), and Vocabulary (Due Mondays), review Scootpad activities 2-3 times a week (10 min each), and work on long-term projects.
Scholastic for Parents also has all kinds of tips, from helping with homework and keeping your child organized to helping him/her with their reading skills.
