What is a STEM School?
In order to best prepare our students for the future, Canyon Springs became a STEM Academy in 2012. The focus of STEM is to meaningfully integrate its components (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) throughout our students' academic day. We feel that developing a firm foundation of the STEM components is essential for the academic achievement of our students, and we believe that it is also a critical component of their success in the future.
